Matthieu Raimbault
Managing Director and Founder
Matthieu has more than 20 years’ experience in Global Equities and Global Commodities.
Having founded Palissy Advisors an Investment Advisory and Independent Research firm in London late 2015, he is now advising one of the top 10 oil producers (OPEC member), one of the top 3 oil traders, one of the top 5 commodity trading houses, one of the top 3 SWFs and a selection of US and UK Hedge Funds and Pension Funds.
Matthieu was most recently with Caxton Associates a global macro hedge fund London as a Portfolio Manager and Senior Analyst where he managed a portfolio on energy and mining equities and contributed as a Senior Analyst to the generation of sizeable macro trades on equity commodities and Commodities.
Prior to Caxton Associates, Mr. Raimbault was a Partner and Senior Analyst at Abydos Capital, an Event driven Fund focusing on a Energy and Mining equities and a Portfolio Manager at Laffitte Capital Management where he won the 2011 Absolute Return UCITS Award, 2011 HFM Event Driven Fund Award and was a Nominee to the Eurohedge Best Event Driven Award in 2011.
He started on the buy side in 2007 with Cooperneff Alternative Managers as a Long Short Portfolio Manager where his focus was also on the Energy and Natural Resources sectors space.
Matthieu started his career in 1998 with ING as Energy and Mining Specialist Sales to become their Head of Hedge Fund Sales for Continental Europe.

Anish Kapadia
Director and Head of Energy
Anish is a director and head of Energy at Palissy Advisors and as such, he leads the team of junior analysts.
He has 20 years’ experience, with a particularly deep knowledge of the global energy sector. Anish balances financial, strategic and investment concerns and the insights from extensive c-suite interaction with most leading oil companies.
Prior to joining Palissy, he founded AKAP Energy, to provide oil and gas research and consultancy to investors and strategic and financial advice to companies. Providing bespoke services to a diverse client portfolio, including: oil and gas companies, investment banks, investors, law firms and PR companies.
He was a Managing Director for 7 years at Tudor Pickering where he head the international upstream research team covering the major global oil and gas companies with a combined market cap of over $1,000Bn.
Anish Kapadia started his career in 2002 at UBS where he was a Executive Director and lead analyst covering over 15 stocks across Europe in the integrated, refining and E&P sub-sectors. During his 8 years tenure at UBS, his team was ranked 1st in the European Extel Survey.

Aurélien Bonneviot
Director of Mining
Aurélien is the Director of mining at Palissy Advisors and has more than a decade of experience focusing on mining commodities and commodity equities.
He started as a sell-side analyst for Société Générale and Oddo-BHF interacting with large hedge funds and pension funds covering the largest diversified miners listed in Europe.
He subsequently moved to the buy side and became portfolio manager at SMA Gestion co-running their commodity fund to then join Louis Dreyfus Metals (now IXM) the 3rd largest physical metals trader as a Business Development Manager for structured investments doing base metal research for them until its acquisition by China Molybdenum in 2018.
Prior to joining Palissy Advisors he was a Senior Investment Manager performing due diligence on the ground and modelling investment opportunities for Greenstone Resources, a private equity fund specializing in the mining sector with $500m of assets under management.
The combination of bottom-up analysis on listed mining single names, commodity trading and deep on the ground-hands on knowledge of the mining projects at different stages of their development is a high value asset for Palissy Advisors research product.

Tim Parker
Compliance Officer
Tim Parker is the CEO and founding partner of Messels Ltd, an independent research firm based in the UK which has grown a reputable regulatory hosting service. Palissy Advisors is an appointed representative of Messels and as such regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Prior to Messels, Tim was co-founder and compliance officer of Stockcube plc for 14 years (the first independent research firm to be listed on the London Stock Exchange), following time spent with both Credit Suisse and L. Messel & Co, where he started his financial services career after serving in the British Army for 3 years. Tim Parker is currently Executive Director of the Association of European Independent Research Providers (Euro IRP).
